One of the most popular and versatile Flash card formats is the multimedia card. With its measurements of only 24x32x1.4 mm, it hardly needs any space inside a device which makes small and elegant multimedia and camera solutions possible. It is still extremely robust and has a memory capacity of up to 1 GB.
The MultiMediaCardplus is brand new. Especially modern digital cameras profit from the increasing transfer rates as the data can be written from the cache more rapidly. But also for the playback of audio and video data the MMCplus opens up new options.
The RS MultiMediaCard (reduced size) is only half as large as the normal card and was designed in particular for use in hand-held devices such as Smartphones, cell phones and PDAs. As a dual-voltage card (RS-MMC Dual Voltage), it can be used in even more devices and supports the energy saving functions of the latest generations of models. Using an adapter, it can also be used in any other device that has a MultiMediaCard slot.
